How we handle your data
Short version: the only personal data this site collects is what you type into the date request form, and we use it to answer you about those dates. Nothing else, and no cookies.
Who is responsible
The data controller is the owner of Luxury Villa Vera Mondello Apartments, the host of the property. The site is built and maintained by sitage on the host's behalf, acting as data processor.

What we collect, and only that
When you send a date request, the form sends us:
- your arrival date and the number of nights (the departure date is calculated from those two);
- the number of guests, and whether your dates are flexible;
- your email address;
- your phone number, only if you choose to write it — the field is optional;
- the message you write, if you write one.
There is no account, no login and no profiling. We do not buy or enrich this data, and we never sell it.
Why, and on what basis
To answer your question about those dates, and to carry on that conversation if you reply. The legal basis is your own request — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
Who else sees it
- Web3Forms receives the form and forwards it to the host's mailbox. It is the service that carries the message; it does not use it for anything else.
- Cloudflare hosts this site and serves its pages. Like any web server it processes technical connection data, including your IP address, to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse.
- If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation happens on WhatsApp and follows its own terms.
Statistics, and why there is no cookie banner
We count page views with GoatCounter, which does not set cookies and does not store identifiers: it tells us how many people opened a page, not who they were. This site sets no cookies of its own, which is why you were never asked to accept any.
How long we keep it
Date requests are kept for 12 months from your last message, then deleted. If your request turns into an actual booking, the records of that booking follow the rules of the platform you booked through.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to object to our use of it. Write to the number above and say what you want done — you do not need a particular form of words.
If you think your data has been handled wrongly, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Guest reviews on this site
The reviews shown on the home page were written by guests on Airbnb and Booking.com and are quoted as they appear there, with the reviewer's first name and country and a link to the original listing. If you wrote one and would rather it were not quoted here, tell us and we will remove it.

If we change how any of this works, we change this page at the same time. Last updated: 2026-09-04.
